Meet the Team

Jason Maxwell, the Executive Director and Founder of Warriors to Wilderness is a retired Navy Seabee and combat veteran with multiple tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, Jason discovered solace and healing in the embrace of nature and outdoor activities that eased his PTSD struggles. Inspired by his personal transformation, he established Warriors to Wilderness, a nonprofit veterans hunting therapy program dedicated to empowering fellow service members on their path to healing and renewal.

Through guided excursions and immersive experiences in the great outdoors, Jason and his team provide a supportive environment where veterans can reconnect with themselves, their peers, and the healing powers of nature. Warriors to Wilderness offers a unique and rewarding opportunity for veterans to find camaraderie, solace, and purpose in the wilderness, fostering resilience and growth along the way.
